Gong Bath Ceremony

Following a highly popular series of events in January, we are back with a monthly Gong Bath meditation, our commitment to maintaining year to round mindfulness and wellness!

About the session

A Gong Bath immerses your body and mind in the sounds and vibrations of an instrument whose use can be traced back over 5,000 years.

To enjoy the benefits, you donít need to DO anything, just lay down and BE, letting the sounds wash over you. In addition to promoting relaxation and meditation, the gong has been shown to have therapeutic value as it takes people to a deeply healing place, penetrating and dissolving thoughts, reducing blood pressure, relieving stress and stimulating the immune system. It has the power to move through blocks, releasing and clearing old patterns and moving vital energy.

To prepare for the Gong Bath we start with a short set of Kundalini yoga exercises and stretches. After the Gong Bath we close and seal the practice with a final mantra chant.

Although we provide blankets and mats, please bring warm clothing and a cushion or other support if you need it to lay down comfortably for over an hour.

Refreshments

Complimentary herbal tea will be served before and after as itís important to stay hydrated. Vegan friendly snacks will also be available, so thereís no need to rush off after.
